Amnesty International offers special events and opportunities for students. Participate in an Amnesty Masterclass, join a Student Group, take part in a demonstration, take action for human rights defenders, volunteer at Pinkpop, Lowlands and other festivals or even travel to Morocco during Amnesty’s student exchange!
Amnesty offers Masterclasses for students about various human rights issues. A Masterclass is usually a combination of a lecture and an interactive part, in which you’ll be put to work, through a case study. It’s is a great way to gain more knowledge about human rights, learn about your student opportunities at Amnesty and meet other students! Masterclasses are open to students working in different disciplines and will be held in English. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required. For more information or requests, please contact email@example.com. During COVID-19 all masterclasses will be held online in Teams.
We have thirteen active international Amnesty Student Groups throughout the country, located in the big cities. They organise events, movie screenings, debates, actions, social get-togethers and more. Would you like to meet kindred spirits, gain experience and knowledge in organising actions for human rights?
As a volunteer you can work with us in the office or with other volunteers in the country. For example, you can help us campaign at festivals like Lowlands and Pinkpop or during the annual Write for Rights event. If want to help us occasionally, you can register as a flex volunteer and we will send you an e-mail when we need your help. For internships and volunteer positions in the office, click here
