Amnesty International offers special events and opportunities for students. Participate in an Amnesty Masterclass, join a Student Group, take part in a demonstration, help organise fundraising events, volunteer at Pinkpop, Lowlands and other festivals or even travel to Morocco during Amnesty’s student exchange!
Amnesty offers Masterclasses for students about different specific human rights themes. A Masterclass is always a combination of a lecture and an interactive part, in which you’ll be put to work, through a case study. It’s is a great way to gain more knowledge about human rights, hear about your student opportunities at Amnesty and meet other students! Masterclasses are open to students working in different disciplines and will be held in English. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required. For more information or requests, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join one of our student groups!
We have eleven active international Amnesty Student Groups throughout the country, located in the big (university) cities. They organise events, movie screenings, debates, street actions, drinks and more. Would you like to meet kindred spirits, gain experience and knowledge in organising actions for human rights and be able to join Amnesty’s actions on festivals like Pinkpop and Lowlands?
As a volunteer you work together with Amnesty colleagues in the office or other volunteers in the country to support human right defenders. For example, you can help us campaign at festivals like Lowlands and Pinkpop or during the annual Write for Rights event. If want to help us occasionally, you can register as a flex volunteer and we will send an e-mail when we need your help.
