As an Amnesty Student Group member you have the chance to:

  • Explore the work of Amnesty International
  • Take action for human rights together with other students
  • Meet human rights defenders from all over the world
  • Organise demonstrations, actions, debates, social activities and much more
  • Raise awareness for human rights issues on social media
  • Join the board or various committees
  • Meet likeminds and build up your network

Join the movement

Once you register, you will be a part of an Amnesty Student Group of your chosen city. The groups are active throughout the academic year (2025/2026). Each group organises their own activities and joins forces on special occasions.

As an Amnesty Student Group Member we expect you to:

  • Be passionate about taking action for human rights issues
  • Participate in the activities of your group
  • Join the biannual National Student Day and three campaigns
  • Show interest in your group’s committees
  • Feel excited about connecting with other student group members
