Student Group Groningen

Welcome to Amnesty International Student Group Groningen!

We are the largest Amnesty student group in the Netherlands, and we strive to form a
close-knit community through numerous events: from information-focused lectures on topical
Human Rights issues, to laid-back celebrations of the progress that has been made so far.
But that’s not all: we are also heavily focused on wider community building and awareness
raising activities, as well as publishing a bi-yearly magazine and a podcast. We manage all
of this through our 6 Committees: Awareness, Climate Justice, Diversity, Editorial, Refugee,
and Social.

We are a highly diverse group, both nationality- and study-wise. All in all, if you are a
student in the city of Groningen who shares our passion for Human Rights, come say ‘Hi!’ at
