Amnesty calls for unity in light of Finsbury Park attacks

Responding to the attack at Finsbury Park last night, Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty International UK, said: “The reports of this targeted terrorist attack are deeply saddening. The thoughts of everyone at Amnesty International are with all those affected.

“As a nation, we must remain united despite the actions of extremists who seek to divide us.

“There is no place for hate.

“This weekend millions of Britons joined in the Great Get Together in a huge statement rejecting hatred and division. “We must continue to stand against hate and show compassion and understanding for one another in these difficult circumstances.”
