6 juli 2009    Long-time Amnesty International supporters U2 will provide an opportunity for fans to sign up to Amnesty International’s new Demand Dignity campaign during their long-awaited 360 Tour which kicked off in Barcelona on Tuesday night. Amnesty International will be tabling in the venues of every show on the tour, which will be attended by over 3 million people.
Amnesty International’s Demand Dignity campaign aims to end the human rights violations that drive and deepen global poverty. The campaign will mobilise people all over the world to demand that governments, big corporations and others who have power, listen to the voices of those living in poverty and recognise and protect their rights.
